Pratt House — Window & Door Restoration
The historic Pratt House required comprehensive restoration of its original windows and doors. Years of exposure had taken their toll on the wood frames, hardware and glazing — compromising both the aesthetic integrity and weather performance of these architectural elements.
Our artisans removed each window and door for workshop restoration, repairing damaged wood, replacing deteriorated glazing putty, and restoring original hardware. Period-appropriate finishes were applied to protect against future weathering while maintaining the historic character.
The restored windows and doors were carefully reinstalled, preserving the Pratt House’s architectural heritage while ensuring modern performance standards for insulation and weather resistance.
