The Glenn Miller House in Tuxedo Park, a historic residence of significant architectural merit, required restoration of its distinctive oriel window, copper cladding, and steel railings. This project demanded the coordination of multiple specialized trades to address different materials and preservation challenges simultaneously.

Our team restored the oriel window’s structural framework and glazing, repointed and repaired the copper cladding using traditional coppersmithing techniques, and conserved the steel railings with appropriate corrosion treatment and refinishing. Each element was addressed with methods and materials consistent with the building’s historic period.

The completed restoration preserves the Glenn Miller House’s architectural character while protecting these exterior elements against Tuxedo Park’s demanding climate. This multi-trade project exemplifies our capacity to manage complex historic preservation work from assessment through completion.
