Our Story
Founded on the belief that great craft endures.
Olek Lejbzon founded the company in 1950 with a simple conviction: that furniture, when properly restored, can outlast generations. What began as a small workshop in New York has grown into a trusted atelier serving landmark buildings, luxury residences, and collectors across the Eastern United States.
In 1988, Peter Triestman — Olek Lejbzon’s son and a Yale graduate — turned his passion for antique conservation into his life’s work, and has guided the atelier ever since. A member of the American Institute for Conservation since 1991, he has grown the workshop to more than 40 master artisans working from a 20,000-square-foot facility.
Today, our team of master artisans carries forward that founding vision – combining time-honored techniques with carefully selected modern innovations. Every piece that enters our workshop receives the same meticulous attention, whether it’s a family heirloom or the furnishings of a landmark hotel lobby.
We don’t just repair furniture. We preserve stories, honour craftsmanship, and extend the life of objects that matter.

What Guides Us
Principles behind every restoration.
01
Integrity of Craft
We respect the original maker’s intent. Every restoration decision honours the piece’s history, materials, and construction methods.
02
Innovation with Purpose
We adopt new techniques and materials only when they genuinely improve durability and quality – never for the sake of novelty.
03
Lasting Relationships
Our 50-year warranty isn’t just a policy – it’s a commitment. We stand behind our work and build trust that spans decades.
