This pair of Art Deco French leather club chairs arrived at our workshop with worn-out original leather and compressed cushioning. The chairs’ generous proportions and characteristic Art Deco curves made them prime candidates for a full leather reupholstery that would restore their original luxurious character.

Our upholsterers carefully documented the original construction before stripping each chair to its frame. The internal structure was rebuilt with new springs, webbing, and padding to restore the plush, enveloping comfort that defines the French club chair form. Every curve and roll was shaped by hand to match the Art Deco profile.

Premium full-grain leather was selected and expertly fitted to each chair, with particular attention to the tight back and rolled arms that distinguish these Art Deco examples. The completed chairs present the rich, inviting character that has made French leather club chairs enduring icons of sophisticated comfort.
