Heirloom Wagon — Complete Restoration

This heirloom wagon, a cherished family artifact with deep sentimental value, arrived at our workshop requiring complete restoration. The wagon’s wooden body, metal hardware, and mechanical components had all deteriorated through years of storage, yet its historical and personal significance made it an ideal candidate for comprehensive conservation.

Our craftsmen addressed each component systematically: the wood body was repaired and refinished, metal fittings were cleaned and conserved, and the wheel assembly was rebuilt to functional condition. Original paint remnants were documented and used as reference for the period-appropriate colour matching of the new finish.

The completed restoration returns this heirloom wagon to a condition that honours both its history and the family memories it carries. Our approach preserved every salvageable original element while replacing only what was necessary, maintaining the artifact’s authenticity and emotional resonance.
