This window and door fabrication project for the historic Jersey City Railroad Station required manufacturing custom replacement units that precisely replicate the station’s original fenestration. As a significant piece of New Jersey’s transportation heritage, the station demanded fabrication work that meets the strictest historic preservation standards.

Our fabricators studied the original windows and doors — their profiles, dimensions, glazing patterns, and hardware — to create detailed specifications for the replacement units. Each new window and door was crafted to match the originals exactly, using materials and construction methods consistent with the station’s period of significance.

The completed fabrication preserves the Jersey City Railroad Station’s architectural character while providing the performance and durability that a modern public facility requires. This project demonstrates our expertise in producing historically accurate architectural elements for landmark buildings and preservation projects.
